Visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Monaco to the Venuste Niyongabo Foundation
On Sunday, October 20, 2024, the Venuste Niyongabo Foundation had the honor of welcoming the Monegasque Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Mrs. Isabelle Berro Amadeï, during her official visit to Burundi. This meeting, organized at the Cité des Jeunes Don Bosco in Buterere, highlighted the Foundation’s actions in support of Burundian youth.
Mrs. Berro Amadeï expressed her satisfaction with the visit, emphasizing the importance for her to see firsthand the projects supported by Monaco and to engage directly with some of the beneficiaries. She also praised the work of the Venuste Niyongabo Foundation, founded by the former Burundian Olympic champion, for its efforts in social inclusion and the promotion of peace. Accompanied by the delegation from Monegasque cooperation, she discovered the Foundation’s guidance and mentorship work and engaged with the teams involved, allowing her to observe the positive impact of these initiatives on the daily lives of the children.
